Super Greens Chocolate covered Bliss Balls

Today I have a bit of a different recipe for y'all! These tiny treats are packed full of protein, healthy fats and essential micronutrients. So not only are they healthy, but also so delicious! I don't usually make my own homemade bliss balls, as I prefer to buy them from the supermarket. However, you don't get chocolate covered bliss balls from the shops, which I wanted, so I had to get creative in the kitchen!

The best thing about bliss balls is that you can basically chuck anything into them, and they will almost always turn out amazing!

These bliss balls are called super greens, because they contain Greens powder from Live Pure. This amazing powder is made up of blends of superfoods, which provides a full spectrum of alkalising greens, full of antioxidants and essential minerals, and is also a source of phytonutrients which can aid in strengthening the immune system! I personally like to have a teaspoon of this in the morning with half a glass of water (shot it!) to get in my nutrients first thing in the morning! However because it does have a very distinct taste, blending them with nuts, seeds and dried fruits definitely makes it more palatable!

Super Greens chocolate covered bliss balls
Makes 10-12
Ingredients
1 cup roasted, unsalted cashews
2 cups dates
2 tbsp peanut butter
1-2 scoops Greens
2 tbsp desiccated coconut

Topping
1 1/2 cup dark chocolate
1 tbsp hemp seeds
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
Method:
1. Place all the bliss ball ingredients in a food processor and process until full combine and you have a thick dough. Take tablespoonfuls and roll into ball shapes.
2. Melt the chocolate either in the microwave or using the double boiler method. Taking one ball at a time, coat in chocolate, then place on a plate and top with a pinch of hemp seeds and desiccated coconut.
3. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up! Keep stored in the fridge.

There you have it! A perfect afternoon or mid morning snack, or even as a sweet treat after dinner! These are perfect to keep in the fridge for whenever you're feeling peckish!
